The Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center (KAMIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on May 6 with the Army Logistics Command, Daejeon Technopark, and Hanbat National University to strengthen collaboration in military additive manufacturing technologies.
The agreement aims to establish a rapid supply framework for military logistics using additive manufacturing and to enhance defense manufacturing innovation capabilities. Under the MOU, the participating organizations will cooperate in areas including joint R&D on military additive manufacturing, equipment and material development, technical exchange and workforce training programs, demand-driven defense R&D projects, technology demonstration, and policy development.
Through this collaboration, KITECH plans to further expand the practical application of additive manufacturing technologies in defense environments and contribute to the development of Korea’s defense additive manufacturing ecosystem.
